Cree una miniguía para que puedan trasladar toda su configuración a su personaje principal de Classic, a los servidores PTR de Blizzard

Debes seguir las siguientes instrucciones en orden:
1 — Ingresar por primera vez al juego sin tener nada configurado, para que se generen todas las carpetas automáticamente en el PTR. (Debes logearte con tu personaje al mundo) luego cierras el juego.
2 — Ingresas a ClassicPTR y copias/reemplazas la carpeta Interfase de Classic a PTR.
3 — Ingresas a WTF y copias/reemplazas la carpeta «SavedVariables» y archivo Config.wtf de Classic a PTR.
4 — Ingresas a la carpeta WTF/Account del PTR /*# y copias/reemplazas las carpetas «SavedVariables» y archivos «bindings-cache.wtf», «config-cache.wtf» y «macros-cache.txt» de Classic a PTR.
5 — Ingresas a la carpeta WTF/Account del PTR /*#/Nombredereino/Nombredesupersonaje y copian la carpeta «SavedVariables» y archivos «AddOns.txt» y «macros-cache.txt» de Classic a PTR.
6 — Ingresas por segunda vez al juego, para que se reescriban los archivos que no se copiaron pero se activen los addon y configuración (deben logear al mundo con su personaje), luego cierran el juego nuevamente.
7- En la carpeta WTF/Account del PTR /*#/Nombredereino/Nombredesupersonaje copias los archivos «chat-cache-txt» y «layout-local.txt» de Classic a PTR.
8 — Ingresas por tercera y ultima vez al juego, todo debería estar configurado, solo falta elegir los perfiles de los addons de la cuenta Classic en el PTR y estaría todo listo.

Best Wotlk Classic Map addon – Atlas

Map addons are another common in Classic due to the aforementioned Questie addon. Atlas, and its many variations, are near essential when it comes to displaying things in Classic. Dungeons and Battlegrounds are major exceptions for maps in Classic, with the areas completely hidden except for the minimap.

The addon isn’t quite as good as what the retail client map is able to show, Atlas, alongside Atlas Loot gives you a fantastic look at dungeons, battlegrounds, and world locations. It’s a crucial addon for some, especially those coming from retail WoW and needing to feel a little more at home.

Best Wotlk Classic User Interface addon – Titan Panel

One of the most powerful addons in Classic, Titan Panel adds a small bar to the top of your screen but it displays so much useful information. The addon can display lots of information such as your location, gold, repair status, and how many bag slots you’re using. Another aspect is that Titan Panel will move addons from clustering your minimap and put them onto the bar instead.

A simple bar that adds a lot of power.

A sign of a required addon is normally when Blizzard merges it into the live game. Atlas Loot, Atlas Map, and Titan Panel are all addons that saw use in the live client. While Titan Panel was only used for one expansion (WoD) for the Garrison, it proves how simple that little information bar was. The other way of knowing you’re using a good addon is when an entire category on Curseforge is named after it.

Best Wotlk Classic Loot addon – Atlas Loot

Atlas Loot is an essential addon for those of us who dream of getting all those shiny purple items from raids. We can look longingly into the future and proclaim, “I will have that hat”. While Atlas Loot won’t increase your drop rate, it will help you decide what dungeons to prioritize. If you’re a tank, it can even help you avoid bosses that don’t drop tanking loot, because you’re the tank and people have to do what you say after all.

If you just look at the Judgement Crown long enough, you might just get it.

The addon isn’t just for dungeons, either. It will list all loot from factions, crafting sets, PvP, and all raid tier sets. There’s not really an alternative to Atlas Loot, either. Honestly, that’s it. It does exactly what it says on the tin.

Продолжаем рассказывать о лучших аддонах для WoW и переходим к третьему проекту из нашего списка. Bartender работает с экшен барами, а если конкретнее, то с их стандартным расположением, количеством, размером, уровнем прозрачности и многим другим. Также с его помощью можно биндовать кнопки, устанавливать эффект появления или исчезновения панелей и даже убирать из виду горячие клавиши.

В итоге все достоинства делятся на два типа:

удобство интерфейса и возможность настройки совместимости с другими аддонами;
корректировка экранного пространства путем манипуляций с различными игровыми элементами (экшен бары, меню панелей, сумки и прочее).

Также стоит сказать и о дополнении к данной модификации, которое называется Button Facade. Оно позволяет экспериментировать с панельными скинами и предлагает на выбор двадцать два готовых комплекта.

Wotlk Classic addon Honorable mentions

Attune – Probably one of the most useful addons in Classic. It has an amazing in-game UI that allows you to track exactly what part of the quest chain or unlock you’re at. Of course, if you want to read a detailed guide on how to attune to Karazhan or Dungeons, you can check our guides.

Prat 3.0 – Prat is a powerful addon that helps to filter out some of the spam you see in chat.

OneBag3 – The addon does basically what it suggests. It consolidated your bags down into one giant bag, allowing you to search your bags and color your items based on their rarity.

GatherMate2 – GatherMate tracks all your Ore and Herb pickups and displays them on your map. If you want some extra help, you can also download a GatherMate data pack, the one from Wowhead is a good start.

WeaponSwingTimer – An addon that is crucial for anyone playing melee or hunter. Making sure not to clip your auto-attacks and ranged casts. While the addon is less useful for casters it’s a very powerful little bar.

WeakAuras – One of the biggest game-changers for Classic was WeakAuras. An addon that’s almost a defining part of retail WoW the addon came to Classic and changed the game. We’ve decided to put it at the bottom because the addon itself has no power without Wago.io and the thousands of custom strings made by the community.

Z-Perl Unit Frames (WoW addon)

Introduction
Perl, with Extra stuff. Much enchanced from Nymbia’s Perl UnitFrames, and a complete replacement for Blizzard’s default unit frames, including raid frames and raid tools, with little remaining of the original Nymbia code.

Range Finder (combined with optional health check and/or debuff check) for all frames based on spell or item range test.
Heal Over Time Monitor will highlight units clearly that have »your own» active Heal over Time spells. Regardless of how many other heal over time buffs are on the raid members, you can keep track of your own ones and when they expire.
Debuff Highlighting in standard debuff colours on all friendly frames. Priority given to show debuffs that »you» can cure first.
Raid Frames, buff icons, MT list units and some other portions or Z-Perl are Created on demand. Saving a lot of time and memory at system startup. Defering the creation of many parts of Z-Perl to when they are actually required. And of course, most often outside of raids they are never required and are never created.
Raid Target icon support for Target, Target’s Target, MT Targets.
Raid Tooltip will show combat rezzers available (druids with Rebirth ready (or very soon available) and any normal rezzers out of combat) if you bring up tooltip of a dead person.
In-combat indicators for all units.
3D Portraits for player, pet, target, focus, party. Optional. Of course this may degrade your framerate somewhat because you are displaying more 3D character models that without this option. But some like it pretty, and it does look cool.
Red and Green combat flashes for frames when player, pet, target, party, partypets, raid take damage/heals. Useful indication of things happening.
Added »’time left»’ on party member/target buffs/debuffs when in a raid, these depend somewhat on CTRA sending appropriate information over the addon channel, although some of it can be determined at run time by Z-Perl, when a player gets a buff for example, we know how long it should last, and therefor when it should expire.
Totally new options window including all Z-Perl options and access via minimap icon and the /zperl splash command.
Configurable colours for borders and backgrounds. Including class coloured names, and configurable reaction colours. Much care has been taken with code size, memory load, memory usage per cycle and so on. LuaProfiler/OnEvent mods used extensively and regularly to ensure that Z-Perl does not do more work than is absolutely necessary.

Best Wotlk Classic Unit Frames addon – Z-Perl

Unit frames are a popular part of World of Warcraft, and Z-Perl is probably the most popular, especially if we look back at Vanilla. Originally called X-Perl, the new addon came back for Classic and has been downloaded over 10 million times already. Another popular addon in this section, and it deserves special mention, is ElvUI. Z-Perl is more an alternative to the standard UI (see below) whereas ElvUI is more like a full rework of the entire WoW design.

For Unit Frames, you’ll need to find what fits you. Some people like something much more simple, personally I use Shadowed Unit Frames, which much like Z-Perl is a much more minor change to the overall look, mostly just tidying up the standard look.

Alternatives – Unit Frames on CurseForge. It’s best to just look through everything here and make up your own mind.

Wotlk Classic Addons – Questing Addon – Questie

Picture the scene; you load up Classic, ready to go on your first big adventure. You speak to that quest giver, who sends you off to kill some Kobolds. But, you’re not 100% sure what way north is or what a cave looks like. So you quickly check your map for a rough location, maybe a few dots to see where to go. But wait… there’s nothing there, you’re alone without guidance. Thankfully, Questie has your back and is here to save the day.

It’s a good job I had this addon, as I have no idea what a Golem is.

Thankfully, Questie fixes all that reading quest text nonsense (don’t worry, you’ll still do a lot wrong even with Questie if you don’t read quests). But by providing you with some of those missing map features, Questie gives you a lot of the functionality you’re missing from retail. Questie isn’t perfect, it might not play well with some other addons (looking at you Azeroth Auto Pilot) and it can be a little misleading at times.

Alternative – QuestHelper – Basically the same thing, some people may prefer the UI.

Переходим к следующему аддону, чьи настройки хоть и минимальны, но приносят довольно большую пользу. После того как завершится установка данной модификации, на экране появится панель с чатами. Каждый канал имеет свою кнопку, окрашенную в определенный цвет — это делается для более быстрого и простого поиска нужного чата.

Также по желанию самого пользователя Chat Bar помогает добавить надписи и позволяет поэкспериментировать над стилями как кнопок, так и панелей.

Если игрок получает от кого-то висп-сообщение («шепот»), то дать на него ответ можно при помощи специальной висп-клавиши, которая создает автоматическое соединение с последним писавшим. Чтобы связаться с человеком не из списка друзей, достаточно просто нажать на ту же клавишу — Chat Bar сам добавит необходимый знак и отправит сообщение после того, как будет указан ник получателя.

Возможность добавления и удаления собственных каналов остается.

This video covers a complete tutorial for the Zerorunes user interface in World of Warcraft.

The UI has been checked and supports: 7.0.3

Troubleshooting:
XPerl is not updated — Z-Perl is now being used to replace XPerl
Icons are not the right size — Open your game menu, select system, go to advanced, then enable UI scale and adjust accordingly (Zerorunes UI Scale: 🤍
Some AddOns do not appear in-game — From the character selection screen go to AddOns and enable Load out of date AddOns.
The default cast bar does not show — Under the player tab in ZPerl enable Original Casting Bar.
There is no friends list icon — You can access your friends list by pressing O. Open the game menu and select key bindings to change the settings.

How to transfer a user interface from one character to another:
Before a transfer backup the entire WTF folder so you don’t lose settings. Under /World of Warcraft/WTF/Account/account name/servername/ are the character folders, copy a character’s folder and replace another character’s folder with it. Some addons may not transfer properly.
Many AddOns have profiles for copying individual AddOn settings from in the game. Open the configuration window for a specific AddOn and look for «Profiles.»

Шаг 3: Активация аддона в игре

После того, как вы скачали и установили аддон Shadowed Unit Frames, следующим шагом будет его активация в самой игре:

Запустите игру World of Warcraft и войдите в свой аккаунт;
На главном экране выберите меню «AddOns»;
В списке доступных аддонов найдите Shadowed Unit Frames и отметьте его галочкой;
Нажмите на кнопку «Загрузить» для активации аддона;
Перезагрузите игру для полного применения изменений.

Z-Perl Unit Frames ist die neue Auflage von X-Perl Unit Frames. X-Perl gibt es zwar noch zum downloaden, aber es funktioniert nicht mehr (habe auch einen kleinen Ausschnitt im Video wo ihr es sehen könnt).

Mit diesem Addon könnt ihr eurem Charakterportait einen neuen Schliff verpassen. Wie es funktioniert? Ganz einfach schaut euch mein Video an und schon wisst ihr es ( ich hab nur die wichtigsten Punkte angesprochen alles geht halt nicht, sonst wird es zu viel lang)

Best Wotlk Classic Auction Addon – Auctionator ClassicFix

Auctionator is one of the most popular addons to make the very clunky auction house in Classic a lot more usable. The standard UI for auctions is… less than ideal, and if you’re used to the now improved retail version, then Classic is a tough ask. As you can see below, Auctionator is a great fix for this and allows you to list auctions quickly as well as tracking historic data.

A simple Alt + Left Click will place your item or stack it into the left window and scan the auction house for other listings. You can also search for an item and rather than listing it, instead buy the listings (the large bottom box). It’s not perfect, and the addon is a fan edit of the retail version, but while it’s still supported it remains the most usable.

Alternative – TradeSkillMaster – A much more powerful alternative to Auctionator but one that requires a lot more understanding to use and come to terms with.

Best Wotlk Classic Damage and Threat Meter addons – Details! & TinyThreat

We’ve included these two together because it’s a case of one addon doing both jobs. Over the years, Details! Has gone ahead of its damage meter competition, which is good because that’s what the addon is for. Addons like Recount used to be the most popular, but after dropping support in retails, Details! has come out swinging. With the release of Classic, Details! made the move and has become a firm favorite of the scene.

If you use this in Classic Wotlk you’ll mostly be seeing purple and green. Don’t worry that’s not a bug; those classes are just that good.

As for TinyThreat, this is one where you might prefer a specific addon rather than a plugin. But for ease of use, by using the TinyThreat plugin, you can simply make a new details window, as the TinyThreat addon comes with Details!

Click the cogwheel on details and select create window > on the cogwheel again, go to plugins and select TinyThreat. If you don’t see plugins, head to the Details! Options menu and head to “Plugin Management” and select Tiny Threat.

Alternative – Recount for damage meters and Omen for threat.
