Мировой геймдев в цифрах

На сегодняшний день игровая индустрия вносит огромный вклад в мировую экономику. Так, по итогам 2022 года оборот составил более 210 миллиардов долларов. Длительное время наблюдается ежегодный прирост игрового рынка в среднем на 10 %. Значительная положительная динамика оборота была достигнута в 2020 году (почти 20 %). Несмотря на прогнозы мировых исследовательских агентств, 2021 год тоже оказался в плюсе — около 4 % годовых.

Геймдев — это процесс создания игр. Он имеет явно выраженную локальную специфику. Но при этом является мировым рынком, по многим показателям превосходящим киноиндустрию. Создатели игр не разрабатывают продукт для какой-то одной страны. Цель любого крупного проекта — мировой охват. Конечно, наблюдается региональная специфика. Это выражается в предпочтениях целевой аудитории, спросе на определённые продукты.

Например, в США на пике популярности так называемые социальные казино (social games), где игроки крутят слоты и играют в азартные игры, как в автоматах. А в Европе горячо любимы мобильные приложения вроде пазлов (match-3).

Мировой геймдев в цифрах

Исключением из правил выступает Китайская Народная Республика, занимающая первое место по годовому обороту игрового рынка в мире. Большая часть прибыльных продуктов создаётся внутри страны. Любая игра перед выпуском проходит строгую бюрократическую цензуру, что затрудняет выход на этот рынок иностранных разработчиков.

Выручка в игровой индустрии распределяется по следующим основным направлениям:

• Мобильные игры. Самые прорывные во всём мире. Являются бессменными лидерами последних лет. На них приходится более 50 % выручки.
• Игровые консоли — 25 %.
• Доля компьютерных игр — 20 ±2 %.
• Виртуальная реальность и киберспорт — менее 5 % выручки. За последние годы наблюдается прирост в данных направлениях, но о значительных прорывах пока рано говорить.

Если отбросить все компании по производству игровых консолей и сосредоточиться исключительно на создателях видеоигр, то китайский ИТ-гигант Tencent станет крупнейшей в мире компанией по производству видеоигр в 2020 году с впечатляющим игровым доходом в 9,2 миллиарда долларов.

Tencent в первую очередь делает игры для мобильных телефонов. Но благодаря многочисленным студиям видеоигр, которыми корпорация владеет по всему миру, Tencent уже давно стала крупным игроком на большом экране для видеоигр. History

The company was founded in 2004 by entrepreneur Hristo Tenchev, who is also the CEO and created the first Bulgarian online browser game Bulfleet. After the success of the game, the team started working on more projects and the company continued to grow.

In 2005, the first version of the second title Khan Wars was released in Bulgaria and in 2008 the internationalization on Khan Wars began. The game was first released in Poland with the support of one of the biggest horizontal portals, Wirtualna Polska.
The company was continuously growing by gaining more international investments, and in 2009, four new titles were released. Khan Wars was translated into 25 languages and released in more than 50 countries worldwide. In 2010, XS Software JSCo started the internationalization of all their games. The company translated its best performing games in up to 40 languages and they subsequently were released in 80 countries.[citation needed]

ІV. Additions

1.Reconsideration of administrative decisions

Actions, performed by a moderator can be reviewed or canceled only by the same person or by a superior administrator.

2.Reparations

2.1.If a player has suffered from game errors/bugs or from actions from the game administration, that player will be requited.

2.2.If a player tries to bend a decision of a moderator by contacting another moderator, he will be punished. The exception is if that player contacts a superior administrator.

3.Objections

Each unreasonable complaint against the rules can lead to one of the described punishments. Depending on the case, the punishment can affect not only the game Bulfleet, but also the game forums and the IRC channels.

4.Undescribed cases

The game administration reserves the right to punish by way that is considered as appropriate a player that has broken the rules in a way that is not described in the game rules.

VI. The game Team (staff)

It is FORBIDDEN for any of the game’s staff to play the game itself, no matter the nickname. It is FORBIDDEN for the game’s staff to enter users’ accounts. The only exception is if the member of the staff has control only in the forum. The staff :

• is not responsible for any damages (no matter if connected with the game in any way) to the user as a result for his participating in the game.
• is not responsible for any problems with the machines that support the game or the game itself.
• keeps the right to compensate the players that have suffered from actions of the staff.
• keeps the right to make corrections in the game and all its aspects without warning.
• keeps the right to change these rules with previously warning the player with a message in the game or in the forum.
• keeps the right to block the access to the game when necessary. That goes for the planned support checks just as for the accidents.

VIII. IRC

The IRC server is official for the game “Bulfleet” :

• The game has its own IRC server, where you can find member of the game’s staff.
• The server is not connected to any other IRC network and is completely independent.
• The server is protected by Open Proxy Monitor. This bot can lead to blocking the access from the hosts , where the so called Open Proxy Ability is found.
• Most of the staff members can be recognized by the “@bulfleet.” In the beginning of their host and their nick afterwards.
• Soon there will be installed an automatic channel creator for every new Clan in which the leader of the clan will have the highest level. If he cannot or doesn’t want to control the channel he can pass that duty to anyone who he considers right.
• Every Clan channel has the right to place its own politics for its users as long as it doesn’t cross with the basic rules of the IRC server.
• The registration of channels is forbidden for users. Channels that are not registered and in which users gather are to be shut down by the administration. Punishments are possible for the users, especially if it is a second assault.
• Flooding is forbidden in all kinds or servers.
• Spamming and advertising is forbidden in all kinds of servers.
• The “invite” is also forbidden (inviting users to another channel in which they don’t need to be).
• Bots are forbidden in the official channels. In the clan channels it could be legal depending on the politics of the clan. (Of course, if warned, administration members will take care of the problem so that they avoid further troubles with the channels).
• The entering of “warbots” is strongly forbidden.
• Clones are also forbidden- joining many clients from one host.
• Faking and/or changing of the hosts is forbidden for people that are not from the game’s staff.
• The automatic use of the command /links is forbidden.
• The staff apologizes for the annoying messages, /ctcp requests and also the /kill-s of clients. When the server rules have to be applied it almost inevitable.
• If you need an IRC operator, write /stats p to see which ones are online and send him a message (/msg). The big idle times don’t mean they will not answer you.

IX. Users

By a registration of an account they state that they have read these rules and agree with its content, to follow the rules and to take the punishments if the staff decides they are necessary. They obligate themselves to regularly check for changes in the rules. Not being aware of the rules doesn’t excuse those who have broken them. The users take responsibility for their personal information and are not to present it to any members of the staff – current or previous. If such has been presented the game’s staff is not responsible.

V. Contributions

Contributing to the company XsSoft Ltd., no matter through an SMS or in any other way, is in no way to be given back or compensated. When an account is punished for not following the current rules, the game’s staff is not obligated to move the accounts coins to a new one or to compensate the player in anyway.

An account that has contributed to the game makes him a “donor”. That is a completely volunteer act and does not obligate the staff in any way. Every contribution gives the account an amount of coins, that allow the player to use additional options for a period of time. The “donor status” doesn’t in any way give an edge to the player against the other players and also doesn’t give them the right to request compensations in any kind after the staff has punished him for a proved violation of the rules.

Трудности и перспективы российских геймдевов

Российские разработчики игр в 2022 году столкнулись с рядом серьёзных трудностей. Прежде всего, они связаны с уходом из России платежных систем (Visa, MasterCard и Paypal). Это затрудняет сотрудничество с крупными западными компаниями игровой индустрии для фрилансеров. Возможности финансирования и плодотворного взаимодействия серьёзно ограничены санкциями.

Крупнейшая иностранная биржа по легальному фрилансу Upwork блокирует аккаунты россиян. Сервис Letsdeel.com ограничил вывод средств в Российскую Федерацию. SWIFT-переводы пока возможны, но список банков очень ограничен. Кроме того, они часто теряются из-за сложной схемы маршрутизации. Фрилансеры не могут быть уверены в том, что их работа будет оплачена зарубежными компаниями.

Крупнейшая ассоциация «Руссофт» отмечает острый дефицит IT-специалистов в России и проблему активной релокации айтишников в другие страны (преимущественно в те, которые принимают без виз). По подсчетам объединения, речь идёт о 40 000 ценных кадров, которые покинули страну. Конечно, это не может не отразиться на российских разработчиках игр.

Определённые трудности создаёт также отсутствие доступа к зарубежному профессиональному программному обеспечению. Вариантом решения проблемы может стать регистрация юридических лиц за границей. Офисы в России при этом могут быть ориентированы на подбор квалифицированных специалистов внутри страны. Также есть вариант переквалифицироваться на китайский рынок, но тут много бюрократических сложностей и огромная конкуренция.

Трудности и перспективы российских геймдевов

Российские разработчики игр практически не реализуют высокобюджетные проекты. В основном, разрабатываются и выпускаются продукты для мобильного сегмента. Они менее затратные, но пользуются большим спросом. Из масштабных ожидаемых игровых релизов — Atomic Heart от студии Mundfish. Проект должны выпустить в феврале 2023 года. Российские разработчики игры Atomic Heart привлекали иностранные инвестиции (от Tencent и Gaijin Entertainment).

Под влиянием кризиса оказались многие крупные компании. Например, активно развивавшееся Сбербанком подразделение SberGames (около 200 IT-специалистов) было закрыто в связи с невозможностью продвижения на мировые рынки, а сотрудники переназначены на другие направления.

Компания Saber Interactive (американо-русская) продолжает разрабатывать проекты в офисе в Санкт-Петербурге, несмотря на разрыв отношений с польской CD Project Red и возникшие из-за этого сложности. Среди ожидаемых выпусков — улучшенная версия Witcher-3. Над ней работают российские разработчики игр. Её выход перенесён на неопределённый срок в связи со сложившейся ситуацией.

1.Registrations The game «Bulfleet» as it is now is a free browser-based online game, which is still in it’s beta testing period. The registration in free, the only condition is the acceptance of the following rules.

2.Accounts For each player (actual person) is allowed only one account in the game in each game universe.

** If a player has registered 2 or 3 accounts, all in different universes, doesn’t break the game rules*

1. Forum and IRC The official game forum is located at www.bulfleet.org, the official irc server is irc.bulfleet.com. Breaking the following rules on those places will also leave to punishments in the game.
